Since 2019 Biota has partnered with Carteret Community College in North Carolina where Biota's Todd Gardner is an aquaculture professor.

This is where we produce iconic species like Cuban Basslets, Royal Gramma Basslets, Flathead Perch, Tuxedo Urchins, and more. Carteret Community College provides us with space and materials, and our Biota team led by Professor Gardner guides students, helping them to learn important aquaculture skills in real-world contexts.
