True Percula Clownfish Proaquatix

Details

Amphiprion percula - The True Percula Clownfish is a classic and beloved species in the marine aquarium hobby. Known for its bright orange coloration, bold black margins, and three crisp white bands, this clownfish is often considered the most iconic of the group. Bred by Proaquatix in Florida, these aquacultured True Perculas are raised on prepared foods and acclimated to aquarium life from the start, making them a hardy and sustainable choice for reef keepers.

True Percula Clownfish naturally host in a variety of anemone species in the wild, including Carpet Anemones (Stichodactyla spp.), and Magnificent Sea Anemones (Heteractis magnifica). In captivity, they thrive with or without an anemone present, and may adopt other anemone species like Bubble Tip Anemones (E. quadricolor), corals, or rockwork as their home.

These fish are peaceful, small, and well-suited for small or large community reef aquariums. Choosing a captive-bred True Percula from Proaquatix means you’re supporting responsible aquaculture while enjoying a beautiful, hardy fish that adapts well to life in your tank.
