Mini Rose Bubble Tip Anemone

Entacmea quadricolor - This mini Rose Bubble Anemone is an aquacultured variety from Queen City Corals that readily self-clones by splitting. They tend to stay smaller than traditional RBTA, but instead form groups of clones. Bubble tip anemones are a favorite of maroon, tomato, and clarkii clownfish, but often ocellaris or percula clownfish will adopt them as a host.

BTA anemones need moderate to strong lighting and a very mature reef aquarium. They tend to do poorly in tanks that aren't fully mature and very stable with pristine reef water quality.

Anemones arrive unattached to substrate, so take care when placing the anemone in your aquarium. Keep in mind that it will "walk" to a new location if it's uncomfortable where you place it. Anemones can sting corals, so keep plenty of space between corals and anemones. Luckily, these mini anemones' small size makes them less likely to harm coral in an established reef.
