Favites pentagona - The Biota Spooky Favites has been in our Florida facility for a long time, and we are now offering in-house grown frags of this coral.
The Spooky Favites is a type of large polyp stony coral that will benefit from stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and trace elements in the water. It prefers moderate water flow and light, and it does well in the lower sections of well-lit tanks.
This hardy species is a good choice for beginners who have a stable environment and water parameters. This coral will quickly encrust over any rock or adjacent surface. It has a powerful sting and sweeper tentacles, so give it plenty of space away from other corals.
