Briareum sp.-Purple star polyp or sometimes referred to as daisy polyp is an encrusting briarium with a bright purple base and green polyps with white centers. This is a very cool strain of star polyp that isn’t often found in the aquarium trade. It does grow slightly slower than the standard green star polyp but it is still a great idea to keep it in a manageable area of your aquarium.
