Most toadstool leather corals are tan or blandly colored, but this is a special variety aquacultured for its absolutely intense green coloration.

This species is incredibly easy to keep and adaptable, making it great for beginners. It prefers moderate to high lighting and moderate, varied water flow. Toadstools are peaceful, but allelopathic, so take care to give them enough space so they aren't too close to neighboring corals. These corals grow quickly and can grow quite large, making an impressive centerpiece for a larger aquarium. If you have a nano aquarium, these corals are very easy to cut and prune as needed.
