Bali Pink Ball Goniopora

Goniopora sp. - Bali Pink Ball Goniopora have pink centers and light green tentacles.

These corals are called "Flowerpot Corals" for good reason. Long, flowing stalks with flower-like polyps at the ends extend from a ball-shaped skeleton. The polyps will be closed when it arrives, but be sure to give it plenty of room to expand, as the tentacles significantly stretch out of the base.

Goniopora were at one time called "6 month corals" because many wild collected specimens don't do well in captivity. Thanks to aquaculture and the invention of coral foods, many reefers are able to keep this unique and beautiful genus.

This species prefers gentle, moderate water flow and low to medium light. Take care to slowly acclimate it to the lighting in your aquarium. We recommend regular feedings of micro coral foods like Goniopower, Coral Frenzy, and Reef Roids.
