Pomacanthus zonipectus -The Cortez angelfish is a unique gem from the Eastern Pacific, but these juveniles are captive bred and better suited to aquarium life than wild caught. As juveniles they are adorned with extremely bright yellow and blue striations running along the body. As they age the juvenile coloration transitions into green-blue with a yellow stripe that runs over the gill plate. This fish is not reef safe and tends to pick on various corals and clams in aquariums.
