Klein's Butterflyfish

Details

Chaetodon kleinii - Biota captive bred Klein’s Butterflyfish is a hardy, active, and stunning species now available captive bred from Biota. These graceful fish feature shimmering yellow bodies with soft brown bands and a subtle blue tint on their fins, making them a beautiful and peaceful addition to most community aquariums.

Biota’s Klein’s Butterflyfish are 100% captive bred and raised, which means they’re already fully acclimated to aquarium life. Unlike wild caught butterflies, our fish are raised on prepared foods like Easy Reefs DKI pellets. Offer a variety of meaty foods and algae based diets to keep them in top condition.

Klein’s Butterflyfish are known for being one of the most adaptable and peaceful butterfly species. They do well in community tanks with other non aggressive fish. While they may occasionally pick at coral polyps or some soft corals, many reefkeepers successfully keep them in mixed reef tanks with proper feeding and observation.
