Tigerpyge Angelfish

Details

Centropyge flavissima x C. eibli - The captive bred Tigerpyge angelfish is an extremely colorful and highly sought after dwarf angelfish. This naturally occurring hybrid is infrequently found in the wild, which makes it uncommon in the aquarium trade. These captive-bred Tigerpyge are better suited to life in aquariums and are raised on easy to use prepared foods from a very young age. This species is "reef safe with caution" and may pick at corals similar to other dwarf angelfish species like LPS, some soft corals, and clams.

Unless a mated pair, it's best to keep one per tank. To pair Tigerpyge, it's best to get two from the same batch so they're already familiar with one another and introduce them at the same time.

These are already eating prepared foods readily available to hobbyists like marine pellets and frozen foods. Their ideal diet should include high quality pellets like Easy Reefs DKI pellets and Masstick, frozen mysis, frozen Spirulina brine shrimp, and frozen angelfish-specific diets.
