Yellowline Sponge Goby

Details

Elacatinus horsti - The Yellowline Goby is a small Caribbean goby prized for its bright yellow stripe, and peaceful disposition.

Elacatinus horsti is also frequently associated with tube sponges, using them as shelter while darting out to feed, Yellowline Gobies readily adapt to a variety of habitats and often become highly visible, perching in the open and interacting with tankmates.

Captive-bred Yellowline Gobies readily accept prepared foods, including pellets, frozen foods, and other aquarium diets. Their small size, peaceful nature, cleaning behavior, and hardiness make them an excellent choice for nano reefs and larger community aquariums alike.

Like all Biota fish, these Yellowline Gobies are aquacultured, helping reduce collection pressure on wild reefs while providing healthy, aquarium-adapted livestock.
